From research to therapeutic impact

PoliRNA is a spin-off of Politecnico di Torino, founded in February after many years of experiences in nanotechnology, RNA therapies and cardiovascular field. The company derived from an ERC-funded project, BIORECAR, launched in 2018, based on a patented technology involving polymer–lipid hybrid RNA-loaded nanoparticles.

PoliRNA has also secured the exclusive license for the patent covering the nanoparticle formulation method and composition.

Building on this foundation, PoliRNA focuses on translating advanced scientific discoveries into real-world therapeutic solutions, addressing one of the key challenges in RNA-based medicine: safe, efficient, and targeted delivery.
